Bandai Announces 4 Upcoming Re-Releases!
Last night was very eventful for fans of S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball. Not only did we get more information about the NYCC 2024 Exclusive (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegito), but we also received notice that there are 4 upcoming re-releases in the line coming soon. Here they are, in order of hypeness:
#4 Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta - Unwavering Saiyan Pride
So this one is definitely the most odd inclusion. Just released this month, there is already a planned re-release. For $34.99, you really can’t go wrong picking this one up. And it will also go well with the NYCC 2024 Exclusive SSGSS Vegito. No confirmed re-release date yet.
#3 Super Saiyan God Son Goku - Saiyan God of Virtue
Another announcement that left us scratching our heads. SSG Son Goku was just release back in May of this year, and you can also still “easily” find this one at your local Target/Walmart, if you’re lucky. You can even pick it up at Premium Bandai right now. I guess if you’ve been sitting on picking this one up, you can now wait a little longer. No current announced re-release date.
#2 Son Goku (Ultra Instinct)
First of the big two announcements! Originally released back on April 2020, Ultra Instinct Goku has been one of the most beloved S.H.Figuarts released, since the form is so popular. This will be a great addition to any collector, especially those who recently started collecting. Bandai website currently has a re-release date of 10/30/2024.
#1 Majin Buu
“I will turn you into chocolate!”
Who saw this one coming? The biggest (pun intended) reveal yesterday was the announcement of the upcoming re-release of Majin Buu. This figure was originally released in 2018! It did make another appearance as an exclusive for SDCC in 2022, however I don’t think it will be that version. Prices on Buu had become too high, so thanks Bandai for this re-release! Looks like this one will be re-released on June 2025.
